Judges for the Curcuit show:

Jeffrey Pepper is the breeder of more than 60 Golden Retriever and 50 Petits Bassets Griffons Vendéens AKC champions and has been judging since 1985. He has judged all breed and specialty shows in the USA, Australia, Canada, Colombia, China, , Denmark, Holland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He is the author of 4 books, and has just completed a new book on the Golden Retriever which will be published in the spring of 2010.  Mr. Pepper is approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC) to judge all Sporting Breeds, all Hound Breeds, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Best in Show.  He has given seminars on Golden Retrievers, Petits Bassets Griffons Vendéens and dogs in general in several countries. He is currently President of the Dog Judges Association of America.

Nick Frost was born into a family with hunting dogs. His first dog was an English Springer Spaniel. His first show dogs were Afghan Hounds which is where the 'dehra' kennel name comes from. He first saw the PBGV while working for an Afghan kennel in Holland in the early seventies. A little later he joined the Jomil BGV and Fredwell Basset kennel in the UK where he bred both breeds and  later Bassets Fauves de Bretagne under the Jomil, Varon, Fredwell and Dehra names. Later he and Vivien Phillips imported the first GBGV into the UK. In 1995 he moved to the USA where he continued to breed and show his PBGVs and a final couple of litters of Basset hounds. Dehra has produced well over a hundred champions world wide.
In the UK Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were added to the kennel and were bred more seriously in the USA producing a number of Champions and group placers.

Nick's judging career has taken him all over the world. In the USA he is currently licenced to judge all Hound breeds, Cavaliers, Labradors and Irish, English and Gordon Setters. He first judged in Denmark over twenty years ago.
